This is the first of a series of “Film Friday” images that I will be posting. I decided a few weeks ago to start shooting film again as a way of slowing down, getting back to my roots, and using the many unique film cameras I have. This image was from a Russian panoramic camera called a “Horizont”. It’s a fixed focus lens that swipes across the film that yields a frame and a half long negative. There’s controls for the aperture and shutter speed and it even has a built-in level. It’s a pain in the ass to rewind and I had a happy accident when opened it up too soon. The result was this lovely light leak across them film.
